The Bug Family
This is the bug family.
The caterpillar loves his?friend Elly the snail.
One time Elly ran away, and the next day they shouted out, “Elly!?” and they?found her. Then Miss Butterfly saw the dragonfly flying by. Then the butterfly flew up into the sky and went into space and she floated and crashed into the moon. Then monsters came and chased her all the way home.
The end.
Riding a Butterfly
In Costa Rica, butterflies used to come in the house but couldn’t find their way out – so I saved them! ?But here in Bali, they are way smarter. ?They can get all out by theirselves.
All our family is on butterflies! ?All of us are on separate butterflies, and Aysia is right next to mom. ?And mom is the one with the black dress. ?And Grandma Alli has the brown dress. ? I am in the red dress. ?And Emily is in a green dress. ?And dad has the yellow shirt and blue pants.
Here is a picture of me riding a butterfly, with all the other butterflies. ?It’s in a magical place. ?Grandma Alli took the photo! ?I feel a little scared when I ride butterflies, but it’s kind of fun.
If I had a butterfly, I would name it Andrea. ? What would you name your butterfly?
The Girl in the Jungle
The girl is in the jungle. But there are three trees just to tell you. Because that purple and pink one is a tree, too. A tiny tree. The rainbow one is magic. The brown and green one is just normal. And the magic on the rainbow tree can make herself have legs and move. The girl has a light bulb, but it doesn’t look like a light bulb so I made it a design. And I was going to send it to an art guy on TV, but it didn’t work so I put it on my blog instead. Do you notice the frame? Look at it. It’s covering half of the sun. And I painted it red. And the spots on the girl’s dress are like cow spots but I didn’t have any black so I used blue instead.
The Bug and the Owl
The owl ?loves to play with his friend. One time they played hide and seek together. Even one time when they were with their cousin they whispered, “We’re going to have some cookies at home without our cousin, and she’s going to be mad.” And then the cousin got mad because she wanted to hear so she said, “Can I hear? Tell me!” And both of them said, “No.” The end.
I painted the picture and on the first part I had to trace some of the outlines of the owl. Then the workers put wax on it. And then we painted it, and then we waited for it to dry and then when it was dry they made it into a little tube like a telescope and it has tape around it so it wouldn’t undo. And when we got home, we undid the tape and we saw our picture! This is called “batik.”
